Job Summary:
We are seeking for machine operatives to join our team in Leicester working within our production areas to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Duties:
To set up the bagging machine to meet the specific customer specifications. Oversee the lines from multihead weigher through to packing and to monitor quality the quality of the product packaging and packing whilst achieving targets and deadlines. To develop an understanding of the remaining lines and to be in a position to offer cover for the line leader in the event of absence. To carry out any other duties as requested by the line manager or supervisor.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Health and safety understanding
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
The roles will be working a 4 on 4 off day shift 06:00-18:00 and 4 on 4 off nightshift 18:00 - 06:00. For hours worked on the nightshift will attract a premium due to unsocial hours.
