We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
As our Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues and collaborating with the maintenance team to keep our facilities in optimal condition.

About the Role and You
Contract type: Full-time, permanent, all year round
Salary: £22.5k per annum
Start date: Immediate start available
Primary roles:

• General maintenance – minor building repairs.
• Small electrical jobs.
• Small plumbing jobs.
• Small carpentry jobs .
• Some painting/ re-decoration work.
• Driving the school minibus during our pick-up and drop-off service.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience as a Maintenance Assistant, or a similar role.
• Has basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks.
• Can work as part of a team and independently.
• Has a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Has excellent problem-solving skills.
• Has physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
