About Us: Kingsfield Care Home is a welcoming and vibrant care home dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Operative at Kingsfield Care Home, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our home. Your duties will include:

• Stripping and putting up wallpaper
• Painting and decorating
• Performing general maintenance and repair tasks
• Changing lightbulbs
• Sweeping the car park
• General gardening and outdoor maintenance
• Climbing ladders and performing tasks at various heights
• Ensuring all areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
• Auditing and Health & safety Checks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (we will cover the cost)
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude
