Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of customers, promoting their independence while delivering high-quality care. This role requires effective communication skills, a willingness to engage with clients, and the ability to perform various tasks, including driving and heavy lifting.
Duties

• Assist customers with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor customers' health status.
• Possibly driving customers to appointments or social activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with customers, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and any changes in the customers conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• A valid driver's licence is required along with your own vehicle.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours is required to meet the needs of customers.
