Being there for our customers when things go wrong is exactly why our Claims teams exist, the quality of service they provide is what sets AXA apart. Working within our Commercial Motor Claims Team you'll be answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims. The types of claims typically received in the department are; accident claims, personal injury claims as a result of a road traffic accident and even property damage due to collisions. Every claim is different and that's what gives the job so much variety!

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home from our Haverhill office. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing:

• Answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims.
• Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing them with personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training.
• Managing your own caseload.
• Working collaboratively as a team to achieve objective.
• Accurately inputting member information into our systems.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Full time, permanent position, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with no weekend work required! Our team in Haverhill town centre consists of around 200 staff and we're proud of our close-knit team which provides a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Induction:
You'll have a structured training programme with one of our specialist Trainers, which will be delivered on-site at our Haverhill office for 8 weeks. Following your training and once more competent in the role you will then move to a hybrid way of working from home and in the office.

About you

What we’re looking for:

• Customer service experience in any sector.
• A great listener who is confident in interacting with customers and building relationships over the phone.
• The ability to look at situations uniquely and solve problems with a positive, can-do attitude.
• A contributor to a collaborative team.
• Computer literacy, you’ll be trained on our insurance-specific software packages as part of your training programme.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
