We have an exciting opportunity here at The Original Baker. We are currently looking for experienced food production operatives to fulfil our newly created Multi-Skilled Factory Operative roles.
As a valuable member of our team, you will work closely with our Factory Managers to ensure smooth running of the factory. You will be trained to work in all areas of the factory which includes making pastry, sauces, mixing and assembly. You will take a flexible approach to your working day offering support to each department as and when required.
Operating in a fast-paced setting, we produce premium artisan goods using traditional baking methods. We take pride in our exceptional products and are seeking exceptional individuals to assist in meeting customer demand. We are located on the outskirts of Norton, close to the A64.
Essential Criteria
· Min of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment.
· Excellent Communication Skills.
· Good level of English & Maths.
· Good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
· Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
· High level of attention to detail, and accuracy.
· Flexible approach to working as part of a team or using your own initiative.
· Have a 'can do' mentality with the ability to problem solve.
Desirable Criteria
· Experience of working with Rondo pastry equipment.
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Friday, 6am until 2pm)
Pay: £13.50ph (£14ph following successful training & probation period)
