We are currently recruiting for Network Presentation Maintainer to join our Network Presentation team within Manchester’s iconic Metrolink.
The Network Presentation Maintainer will work as part of the Network Presentation team working safely, to undertake the planned and unplanned maintenance activities of all structures and premises on the Metrolink network.
Key accountabilities will include:

• To maintain Customer Facing Assets across the Metrolink network.
• To maintain on-stop vegetation on the Metrolink system as required.
• To maintain the Queens Road and Trafford Depot as required.
• To maintain Metrolink stops and platforms as required.
• Re-active maintenance as and when required
• Incident reports as and when required.

• You take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to health and safety arising from the work activity.
• You bring any health and safety issues to the attention of management that requires their attention.
• Ensure that all accidents and near misses are properly recorded and reported.
• You take reasonable care for your own health and safety.
• You consider the safety of other people who may be affected by your acts or omissions.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrable experience in general building maintenance including plumbing, joinery, civils/groundworks & decorating.
• Have a good knowledge of maintenance issues
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
• Needs to be able to pass a Railway Medical to receive a Metrolink PTS.
• An element of night work will be required
• Proactive and flexible attitude.
• Manage priorities effectively with enough flexibility to respond to changing needs and requirements
• Able to give and receive feedback effectively
• Able to develop and sustain relationships at all levels
• Acts on own initiative and able to take a creative, innovative approach as well as work as part of a team
• Brings a pragmatic and commercially focussed approach to customer solutions
• Role model great personal leadership skills and possess high levels of integrity
