Join us in this role where you’ll enable safe transit and access to the offshore installation to perform operations and maintenance. You’ll be responsible for executing vessel movements outlined in the plans and schedules, delivered by the planning and scheduling functions. You’ll also be responsible for vessel and personnel tracking, overseeing operational control under the safe system of work and acting as the first line of response during emergency activations.
Welcome to West Coast Regional Support
You’ll be part of the Offshore Coordination Team, where you, together with your colleagues, will utilise radio equipment to coordinate vessel movements and transfers offshore. You’ll join a friendly and dynamic team of colleagues who are professional, supportive, dedicated, and always seek to improve the way we operate. As a team, we are passionate to get the job done, and collaborate with stakeholders frequently and effectively, to help drive forward and deliver the ambitions of the region.

You’ll play an important role in:
  • controlling vessel traffic as agreed with coordination protocols and procedures,
  • ensuring efficient and safe execution with working schedules through accurate personnel, vessel tracking and weather monitoring

  • verifying all personnel hold the correct certification to set to work
  • coordinating emergency response and responding to radio communications supporting incident escalation.
To succeed in the role, you:
  • have strong communication skills and are comfortable with radio communication operations
  • are IT literate, and able to learn new IT systems quickly
  • are a proactive problem solver with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • are a team player, ideally with control room experience.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
