A prominent hedge fund based in London is seeking a talented individual to join their Operations (Reconciliations) team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 FTE (pro rata) and the benefit of a hybrid working model, enabling you to maintain a balanced professional and personal life. The role requires availability from Wednesday to Friday, offering ample flexibility for other pursuits.
Situated at the heart of the Risk, Operations, and Compliance division, this role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the hedge fund’s financial data. You will be entrusted with the critical task of ensuring accurate reconciliations, making this a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and high-stakes environment where your contributions will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing daily reconciliations of accounts and transactions
- Swiftly identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborating across departments to ensure data precision
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for senior management
- Supporting the compliance team in meeting regulatory obligations
- Demonstrated experience in reconciliations, ideally within the hedge fund or financial services sector
- Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
