The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic North East team in an exciting, employee-owned organisation.
The role requires ambition with an entrepreneurial spirit. A self-starter, you will need to bring commitment, drive and enthusiasm to work every day. Displaying gravitas, with the ability to work comfortably and converse well at all levels is a must.
Your primary responsibility will be generating your own leads and targeting large accounts with the aim of developing them into key kite customers
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic person. The candidate must:

• Be highly motivated with a hunger to succeed
• Be able to self-manage and plan effectively
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Thrive off exceeding targets
• Have experience working in a packaging based or industrial sales environment

Key responsibilities:

• Developing new business with large industrial users of packaging
• Cold calling, canvassing, and barrier bashing
• Diary management.
• A mixture of home working, on the road sales and office based.
• Hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Developing and maximising relationships with key stakeholders
• Managing projects from beginning to end
• Working with the support teams to provide packaging reviews and audits
