Packaging Business Development Manager

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic North East team in an exciting, employee-owned organisation.
The role requires ambition with an entrepreneurial spirit. A self-starter, you will need to bring commitment, drive and enthusiasm to work every day. Displaying gravitas, with the ability to work comfortably and converse well at all levels is a must.
Your primary responsibility will be generating your own leads and targeting large accounts with the aim of developing them into key kite customers
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic person. The candidate must:

Be highly motivated with a hunger to succeed
Be able to self-manage and plan effectively
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Thrive off exceeding targets
Have experience working in a packaging based or industrial sales environment

Key responsibilities:

Developing new business with large industrial users of packaging
Cold calling, canvassing, and barrier bashing
Diary management.
A mixture of home working, on the road sales and office based.
Hitting and exceeding sales targets
Developing and maximising relationships with key stakeholders
Managing projects from beginning to end
Working with the support teams to provide packaging reviews and audits

Pay: Up to £50,000.00 per year
