Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a bustling hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and support kitchen operations to ensure a smooth culinary service.
Responsibilities
- Aid in food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
- Support with basic cooking tasks as required
- Help in receiving and storing deliveries. Must be able to lift minimum 15kg.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, hotel, or culinary setting is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is desirable
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Passion for the hospitality industry and interest in pursuing a career as a cook or chef
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.04 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
