Receptionist
We are now recruiting for a Receptionist to join our friendly campus reception team. The successful candidate will be working across campus at both Scott Medical and Healthcare College and Stoke Damerel Community College, part of Greenshaw Learning Trust. No additional travel is required as the sites are next door to each other.
As the first point of contact our reception team provide a welcoming front of house and admin support service to visitors, parents, students and staff across the campus. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a flexible and customer focused approach, working efficiently and communicating clearly when responding to enquiries. They should be able to work well within a team, have a personable and friendly manner and a tactful and diplomatic disposition to deal with confidential issues sensitively.

Main duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will work across Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical & Healthcare College. No additional travel is required as the sites are next door to each other.

Main duties and responsibilities
- To be the first point of contact at our busy reception desks across the campus
- To deal with parents, students, staff and visitor enquiries
- Operate the main telephone switchboard
- To deal with deliveries to the college
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Understand, support and cover student reception as needed
- To support the College First Aider with the provision of medical attention to students and staff who are injured or become unwell
