About Us:
Active Help and Support Ltd, our goal with this venture is to respond to the growing need for specialised services in supported living and complex care across Norfolk and suffolk. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support for individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex health conditions.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our new service, navigate the CQC registration process, and drive growth.
The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the supported living, mental health and complex care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the service, managing the CQC registration process, and building a highly motivated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with startup experience in supported living services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the CQC registration process for the new service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with CQC standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage care and support staff.
- Oversee service delivery, ensuring the highest quality of care and support for clients.
- Manage referrals and assessments for new clients, creating person-centered care plans.
- Maintain CQC compliance, conducting regular audits and quality checks.
- Build relationships with local authorities, health commissioners, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure financial and operational targets are met.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within supported living and/or complex care services.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and the registration process.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and developing teams.
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health, or complex medical conditions.
- Ability to manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Desirable:
- Experience in launching a new care service or supporting a startup.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Education:
