We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Counsellor who is looking for a new challenge.

• To be responsible for the confidential counselling services to students as allocated, providing 1:1 short-term counselling to students who need support in times of family loss, illness, stress and friendship issues.
• To be responsible for maintaining appropriate and confidential records.
• To liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Lead on a frequent basis.
• To provide regular audit information such as numbers, age range and types of issues.
• To continually review and evaluate the counselling provision.

The post is term-time only, 36 hours per week.

St Angela's Ursuline School is a voluntary aided school based in Newham in London for girls aged 11-18. It is a Roman Catholic school.
The school was built in 1862 by the sisters of the Ursuline order, inspired by the vision of their founder and the school’s namesake.
Approximately 90% of the school’s population are from ethnic minority backgrounds.
