Role Overview:
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. Collaborating with the care team, you will address daily needs, oversee support workers, contribute to care planning, and maintain high standards of care while promoting resident independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Care: Collaborate with the care team to meet residents' daily needs, ensuring dignity and independence.
  • Supervision: Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals, offering guidance and support to support workers.
  • Care Planning: Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Mentorship: Coach and mentor support workers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Leadership: Lead by example to uphold high care standards and promote resident well-being.
Reporting To: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Nurse
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior care role with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and create a supportive team environment.
  • Empathy: A caring nature with a genuine commitment to improving residents' lives.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or working towards).
