JOB ROLE
Soha is in a pivotal phase of digital transformation, aiming to modernise the way we serve our residents and streamline our internal processes. You will report to our Senior Project Manager and Development Team Lead and will work within the Development Team alongside another developer. This role plays a crucial part in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Housing Management Solution, Aareon QL, as well as other modern solutions to meet the organisation's strategic objectives.
This role will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week required in the office.
In this role you will:

• Take the lead in developing and enhancing our Housing Management Solution, Aareon QL.
• Lead the integration of our new repair Scheduling Solution, Total Mobile.
• Work toward migrating our Housing Management Solution to a modern cloud alternative.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on Soha's digital transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate project requirements and timelines, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
• Continuously adapt project scopes to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
• Maintain and develop documentation, such as architecture diagrams and API guides, for ongoing and future developments.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance to uphold high work standards.

KEY DUTIES

• Lead efforts in the development and enhancement of Aareon QL, in line with project goals and timelines.
• Work with project stakeholders to define requirements, milestones, and success criteria.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones are met.
• Lead the Total Mobile Integration project so as we can schedule repairs optimally
• Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation plans for all project activities
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements, supported by data and customer feedback.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform as required.
• In-depth experience with SQL and API integrations.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols, particularly within cloud environments.

What you will need:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and API integrations.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Total Mobile.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly articulating project scopes and updates.
• Strong skills in documentation and change management.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, focused on pragmatic and effective solutions.
• Experience of large-scale solution migration.
• A positive and open attitude to the new development cycle and needs of the business.
• A collaborative approach, aimed at achieving organisational goals.

It would also be nice to have:

• Prior experience in the housing sector.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• A track record of successful project delivery in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of other Housing based Technological Solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £55,911.00 per year
