Sign Fitters Mate

As a Sign Fitter's Mate, your main responsibilities will be:
- To support the lead sign fitter in their tasks
- Ensuring that all signage is fitted according to the required specifications and within the given timeframe
- You will be involved in fitting various types of signage such as totems, shop signage, wayfinding, and vinyl/graphics
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is stocked with the necessary materials for each job
- Effective communication with clients, site managers, and colleagues is also crucial in this role.
- Eager and willing to take on assigned tasks
- While previous experience in fitting signage would be advantageous, it is not a requirement. However, having some experience in a similar industry, such as a joinery apprenticeship, would be highly beneficial
- A full driver's licence and CSCS card are both essential for this role, and having certifications like IPAF, or PASMA would be highly desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools is also necessary
- Being flexible, having a positive attitude towards work, and being able to work well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and maintaining a professional demeanour at all times are also key attributes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
