Toulouse Lautrec Restaurant and Jazz Club in Kennington is an independently family run venue and we’re looking for a sous chef.
If you’re a senior CDP looking at making a step up, this is probably great for you!
5 day working week, 45 hours.
Typical working week: 3 x 11 hour shifts from starting 9.30am / 11.30am and 2 x 7.5 hour shifts starting at 4pm.
Classic French menu with some modern touches. Managing the day to day running of the kitchen team and keeping high levels of hygiene, managing prep and other team members.
Full training will be given by the owner / head chef.
Salary from £36,000 for the right candidate. Salary includes share of service charges. Uniform and knives can be provided. Staff meals included on shift and staff discount.
Qualifications

• Food preparation and cooking skills
• Kitchen and culinary experience
• Strong leadership and hospitality skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Experience in supervising and team management
• Previous restaurant and serving experience
