Spa Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our talented Team at the exclusive Culloden Estate and Spa
Under the inspiring leadership of our Spa Manager, Judith Hogg, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. We want to help you to develop your skills and offer an extensive range of learning and development opportunities.
The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out seven. Typical shift patterns include, 9am to 5pm.
The salary for this full-time position is £22,186.00 per annum.

About The Role
1. To be fully conversant with the treatments, facilities and services within the spa and hotel.
2. To be fully conversant with pricing structures to be able to effectively sell the spa services.
3. To take bookings for treatments, ensuring information is recorded correctly on the spa scheduling system.
4. To receive and depart guests, ensuring that the guest is provided with the appropriate assistance and information to get the greatest enjoyment from their visit.
5. To complete all administrative duties in relation to the efficient running of the department.
6. To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
7. To receive payment and operate till, ensuring accuracy of prices charged and change given.
8. To balance bank, cash and all transactions at the end of shift.
9. To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
10. To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
11. To maintain the presentation of the Reception area in accordance with Hastings standards.
12. To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.
13. To ensure all guest enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
14. To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
15. Any other duties as required by management.
Required Criteria
  • Good Command of English Language
  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom
  • Customer care experience
  • Smart well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure and be a team player
  • Educated to GCSE Standard or the equivalent including English and Maths
