The Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom. Operating through a number of market leading brands; we design, manufacture, and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK and Europe.
We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our busy and growing organisation. The Stock Controller will maintain the integrity and accuracy of stock records, correct stock as necessary whilst ensuring the right product, in the right quantity and the right condition is available for delivery at the right time.

We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our busy and growing organisation. The Stock Controller will maintain the integrity and accuracy of stock records, correct stock as necessary whilst ensuring the right product, in the right quantity and the right condition is available for delivery at the right time.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Follow all Company safety procedures and policies.
- Identify areas of improvement.
- Communicate stock issues and liaise with planning to place production orders, where necessary.
- Monitor and manage damaged and returned stock.
- Maintain close working relationships with all departments.
- Management of inventory, using SAP to control the on time delivery of product.
- Produce and maintain accurate records.
Required experience/skills/qualifications:
- Worked within a warehouse and transport environment.
- Computer literate.
- Good working knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable:
- 1 year stock control experience
