About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Team Lead/Manager to oversee and guide a team of talented Dev Ops engineers in managing multiple projects and supporting various products within Intermedia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Dev Ops practices, combined with excellent leadership and project management skills, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and automation processes.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor 3 small teams of Dev Ops engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Allocate resources effectively across several projects and products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality support.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the Dev Ops team.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops in a highly available production environment.
- Manage and support deployments to Kubernetes clusters, including the creation and updating of Kubernetes manifest files, Docker files, and Docker builds.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of automation scripts (Power Shell, Bash, Python) to support highly available production environments, participate in code review.
- Ensure effective monitoring and logging using systems such as Elastic Search, Prometheus, Grafana.
- React on alerts, create incidents, create awareness, gather resources to work on resolution of critical events.
- 5+ years of Dev Ops experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in creating and troubleshooting CI/CD a highly-available production environment.
- 2 years of experience supporting deployments to Kubernetes clusters in a highly-available production environment.
- 2 years of development and support of automation scripts in Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
- 1 year of troubleshooting experience using logging and monitoring systems (Elastic Search, Graylog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights).
- Proficient in Windows and Linux Administration.
- Experience with DNS records management and certificate management in a highly available production environment.
- Experience using and troubleshooting Ansible/Terraform playbooks.
