Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. Due to ongoing demand, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as a Trainee Assembly Operator.
We have 3 roles on offer. As they are training positions, the starting dates between them will be staggered. Aiming for 2nd September 2024, 1st October 2024 & 4th November 2024.
As Trainee Assembly Operator, you will work as part of our skilled assembly technicians to replicate and dispense a high precision solder form pattern. Given the intricate nature of the role, the candidate must have a steady hand and keen eye for detail.
Previous experience as an Assembly Operator is not necessary as full training will be provided.
Trainee Assembly Operator Responsibilities:

• Replicate and dispense high precision solder in a variety of products
• Carry our product inspection under a microscope
• Solder at close proximity

Trainee Assembly Operator Skills & Behaviours:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Focussed with a “can do attitude”
• Excellent communication skills
