Pinnacle Group are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join the Strategic Asset Management Team as a Trainee Technical Inspector. You will be joining as part of our Homes DIO team. The FDIS contract requires all housing stock to be assessed every six years as a minimum. To achieve this Pinnacle, have an in-house surveying team that together work with third party supply chain to cover circa 8,000 assessments per year. The Technical Inspector will be regionally based and parch manage their respective region. This will entail liaison with regional Pinnacle, DIO and RAM’s teams to provide sufficient coverage and support where required. Regionally based – Two positions, one, Northwest and one, Southwest regions. Work from home is in place, however travel will be required to parts of the contract within the region.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Technical and assurance assessments in line with contract requirements
• Lodging Energy Performance Certificates
• Conducting HHSRS assessments
• Collating and submitting Estate Agent Details, floorplans and bespoke assessments where required.

Key requirements:

• Hold a full driving license with the ability to travel within region and by exception to other parts of the contract
• Computer literate – Good working knowledge of both in-house systems and MS Office tools
• A working knowledge of the MOD Housing contract, regional housing stock and the stakeholders who are influenced by this activity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in written form in terms of relationship management with stakeholders
