Our hospital is seeking a part-time and experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to support our team of Vets and Nurses to provide a high level of patient care. You will be based within our wards department, which is a fast-paced area of the hospital, that strives to provide the highest level of patient care to our hospitalised patients.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be expected to assist the team in daily tasks such as:

Helping to restrain patients for examinations and application of medications.
Assist in maintaining hospital cleanliness.
Walking dogs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your animal handling skills and veterinary care knowledge.

About the hours and salary

The hours for this role are Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm. There is a bank holiday rota that you will be part of that will consist of you working 1-2 bank holidays per year.

The salary for this role will be £9,518 per annum.
