We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator (PM Shift 2.30 pm – 10.30 pm, 37.5 hours per week) based at our depot in Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17 4XT).
About the role
The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the warehouse’s inventory for heavy and bulky furniture within our Magna Park Depot. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for executing inventory control measures to minimise stock loss, maximise stock holding and paperwork accuracy. Overseeing the efficient handling of our items, confirming the stock levels are maintained to company standards, and precise.
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Complete stock counts as required and reporting results, and completion.
· Complete Inventory investigations into stock discrepancies for the Warehouse.
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of the Warehouse inventory.
· Execution of the Perpetual Inventory count processes
· Liaise and collaborate with the Warehouse and Transport team to improve stock accuracy and to prevent stock loss.
· Carry out regular quarantine checks and report findings to Warehouse management.
· Ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time for the operation.
· Timely management of internal and external queries.
· Support the completion of claims relating to inventory on site.
· Complete and report on relevant KPIs scorecards.
· Follow standard operating procedures and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
· Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety.
· Collaborate with external departments to complete inventory related queries.
· Accurately record and report inventory levels on site.
· Deal with escalated emails regarding inventory.
· Audit and report on ad-hoc audits for stock inventory.

Skills & requirements
· Proven experience in a similar role within a logistics or warehouse environment would be highly advantageous.
· Strong understanding of heavy and bulky furniture logistics and inventory processes is preferred.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
· Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
· Problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)
Shift pattern: PM – 2.30 PM - 10.30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £23,000 per annum
