Laleham Health & Beauty is currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative with an FLT licence, working on a rotation shift (Monday–Friday 06:00–14:00 and 14:00-22:00).

Overview
The purpose of this post is to provide continuity of supply and stock control of materials to support the Production and Manufacturing schedules on site. The post holder will also assist and ensure that all deliveries and despatches are managed accurately and safely.
This is a warehouse-based role, requiring the post holder to operate an electric forklift truck. Moderate physical effort will be required and will include, bending, lifting and the operation of basic manual handling. The post involves basic documentation and simple recording of electronic data, which requires accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
Key duties & Responsibilities
· Correct Picking of Components and Bulk liquids, in accordance with procedures
· Report any stock anomalies to the stock controller
· Supply of picked stock to Production Rooms, in accordance with procedures
· Input data on Computerised Stock System relating to all movements of stock
· Follow Production Schedule and generate Pick List at appropriate time
· Storage of new and returned stock in racking and block stack areas
· Storage of Bulk Liquids and maintaining correct records
· Storage of Finished Products in allocated racking
· Housekeeping
· Stock checking
· Operating fork lift trucks
· To assist in other Warehouse areas as appropriate. (Outside normal day hours, plus holiday and sickness cover).
· To carry out any other duties, as deemed necessary by Management, in relation to business requirements
· Daily communication with production rooms to co-ordinate delivery of components and bulk at the appropriate time
· Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, and maintain that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Warehouse Procedures (WHPs) are adhered to at all times
· Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice at all times in the warehouse and other accountable areas
· Be available for weekend and out of hours work if and when the business dictate
Skills/Experience
· FLT licence trained in Bendi and/or Reach trucks - essential
· Experience within a warehouse environment; procedural knowledge and understanding of stock / product control, including receipt, handling, location and distribution would be ideal.
· Ability to prioritise and multi-task workload.
· Basic level of numeracy and literacy required.
· Ability to use computerised information systems to retrieve, update and input all relevant data on internal stock control systems.
· Salary is to be confirmed and depending on experience
· Beyond the hourly rate of pay the successful candidate will be entitled to have 20% shift allowance for working on Rotations. Progression depends on the level of training.
