Overtime rate applies between 8am - 9am daily.

Storm Xccessories Ltd. has a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team.
We are looking for if:
· You have at least 6 months previous experience in Forklift Counterbalance/Reach Truck driving, a strong awareness of Health and Safety requirements while operating machinery.
· You are an energetic and enthusiastic individual, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
· You have experience in achieving targets.
· You have good written and verbal communication skills.
· Although not essential as training will be provided, some experience in using modern warehousing technology would be advantageous.
What will you be doing:
Working as a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be involved in the forklift driving tasks in our warehouse base. Alongside this, you will assist our team of warehouse operatives in ensuring our customer’s orders are picked, packed, and ready to be delivered as promptly and as professionally as possible. Assistance in restocking our warehouse is an important aspect of this role as is use of our modern technology to ensure that you can achieve targets set out by the company. You will ensure the safety of our team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety in our warehouse at all times.
Duties:
· Completing pre-operation checks on machinery for any defects/issues, logging and notifying management of any concerns.
· Safe operation through the warehouse, being aware of safe loading practices, team safety on site and operating with caution around racking structures and other machinery on site.
· Operating the forklift to transport products throughout the warehouse, including loading and offloading products onto elevated racking, in the correct bay allocations.
· Receiving, offloading and checking incoming deliveries.
· Itemising, labelling and organising bay allocations.
· Picking and Packing orders for dispatch.
· Checking products for visual and physical defects or damage.
· Participation in stock counts.
· Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
· Maintaining a safe working environment.
· Other ad hoc tasks as requested by your Line Manager.
Essential Criteria:
· Forklift Licence – Counterbalance/Reach Truck – 6 months previous experience
· Full UK driving licence.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work to deadlines.
· Proven experience of hitting targets.
· Willingness to work hard as part of a team.
· Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities.
· Ability to adapt to new systems, and a positive “can-do” attitude.
· Strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
· Ability to work overtime as and when required.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment.
· MEWP Licence – Genie Scissor Lifts.
· Knowledge of Stock Control Software.
