The Extra Care Charitable Trust are recruiting for a dedicated part time Sales Assistant to work alongside the Shop Team, at our Charity Shop in our Sinfin store, based in Derbyshire.

Role Details

• Role: Sales Assistant – Part-Time
• Hours: 7 hours per week – Weekend Cover
• Salary: £11.47per hour (£4,186pa, pro rata of FTE)
• Location: Unit, 10b Sinfin Shopping Centre, Derbyshire, DE24 3DS

What will you do as our Sales Assistant?

• Achieve maximum sales at all times.
• Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop.
• Support the shop/deputy manager to actively promote the Gift Aid scheme adhering to the policies, work instructions and HMRC guidelines.
• Ensure all stock is consistently priced in line with policy.
• Ensure there are adequate stock levels on the shop floor and that stock is rotated according to company guidelines.
• Assist in the day-to-day supervision of volunteers.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.

Our ideal Sales Assistant:

• Will ideally have previous retail experience and experience of cash handling.
• Have knowledge/experience of administrative duties.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Be a team player with good organisational skills.
• IT literate and numerate, plus good communication skills
