The Opportunity/Role
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join our team in Bedford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate receipt and storage of both manufactured and purchased stocks, whilst maintaining excellent manufacturing standards. Main duties will include:

• To operate the machinery in compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) management policy, procedure and systems.
  
• To update the AX system with production information accurately
  
• To attend and assist all regular stock checks including annual stock checks
  
• Work to support and achieve continuous improvement
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures
  
• To be able to carry out duties associated with moving and handling within H&S guidelines
  
• Not adverse to working at height or adverse weather conditions.
  
• Good administrative, IT and organisational skills.
