The Lourie Center for Children's Social & Emotional Wellness is a private, non-profit agency with a mission to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training. The Lourie Center has four core programs serving children birth through age 12 and their families: Head Start, The Lourie Center School, The Therapeutic Nursery Program and Parent-Child Clinical Services
As an Administrative Assistant II, you will:
- Maintain office supplies and needed equipment for the operation of the school program.
- Request purchases for staff supplies within the classroom as needed.
- Develop the master schedule, as well as maintain and direct information to appropriate staff personnel.
- Responsible for copying, distributing, and mailing to parents and outside agencies IEP quarterly reports, report cards, and interim reports.
- Maintain certifications from governing agencies and other paperwork for the Director of Education.
- Report any repairs or emergencies within the school facility.
- Provide information to parents regarding academic programs in school and maintains student financial accounts as necessary in coordination with Other Revenue Department.
- Answer incoming calls using professional and helpful etiquette and maintains student requests for records.
Qualifications include:
- BA/BS required or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar capacity within a school setting
