Job Description
A busy, work-from-home Mom is seeking an experienced and loving part-time Afterschool Nanny to care for her 3-year-old daughter. Driving is not required. This role involves providing care when she gets home from school, preparing dinner for her, and organizing afterschool activities that are engaging and fun. The child receives at-home speech therapy afterschool until about 3pm.
The ideal nanny is active, organized, and familiar with gentle parenting and positive reinforcement. Experience with speech delays is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:

• Provide care for the child after school. (No driving needed.)
• Prepare snacks and dinner for the child.
• Assist with potty training. She is currently sitting on the potty once an hour.
• Plan and have activities ready for the child after her speech therapy sessions end at 3pm.
• Support and prepare child development activities such as arts and crafts, letter tracing, reading stories, etc.
• Communicate and collaborate with the mother, who manages bath time and bedtime routines after work.

Pay Rate
$20-28/hr

• Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 6:30pm

Kensington Nanny Agency Requirements

• Must have 3 or more years of recent, verifiable professional private home experience
• Understanding of professional boundaries, modesty and dressing appropriately
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have a reliable car
• Excellent driving record
• Be drug-free
• Able to swim
• Have a stable work history
• Speak excellent English – must read & write
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Have no criminal record
• Be CPR & First Aid Certified (prior to beginning work in the home)
