ARCTOS Technology Solutions, LLC (ARCTOS) is looking for a passionate leader to mature and grow the Commercial Spaceflight Compliance business lane within its Space & High Speed Flight Risk and Safety group. We are a fast-growing, technology-oriented small business providing aerospace, defense, and digital solutions, with offices and work sites across the United States.
REQUIREMENT
The Associate Director of Commercial Spaceflight is responsible for enabling our customer's success by providing expertise to meet all applicable federal regulatory requirements, managing risk through process optimization and effective allocation of SME resources, and ensuring Arctos has a reputation for delivering high quality deliverables. The ideal candidate for this role will be driven to execute and hungry to grow the business lane through new contracts, relationships, and offerings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Compliance Efforts: Manage comprehensive federal compliance analyses, helping ARCTOS’ clients secure licenses, approvals, and grants in aerospace and defense sectors.

  • Customer Integration: Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring compliance requirements are fulfilled promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborative Integration: Coordinate with engineering, legal, and project teams to optimize compliance and analysis processes across projects.
  • System Improvements: Implement technology-driven improvements to compliance processes, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build innovation-driven client relationships that foster revenue growth.
  • Achieve measurable revenue growth by engaging new and existing customers
  • Identify growth opportunities for ARCTOS, targeting emerging market sectors and building strategic partnerships
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Detailed familiarity with FAA Part 450 Commercial Spaceflight Regulations, in theory and in practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with effective project management techniques and tools.
  • Practical understanding of business factors (e.g. budgeting, forward planning, cost estimation, etc.)
  • Effective relationships with players in the commercial spaceflight industry.
EDUCATIONAL, CLEARANCE AND CERTIFICATION
  • US Citizenship required
  • BS in Aerospace Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience.
  • US Citizenship required.
PHYSICAL/WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Standard office setting.
TRAVEL
  • Minimal travel is anticipated and will be performed will be under the guidelines of Federal Travel Regulations and/or Joint Travel Regulations.
