We are seeking a Case Management Coordinator/Reception (Office Specialist 2) to join our Medford Child Welfare team.
Summary of Duties

As a Case Management Coordinator, you will:
  • Provide essential support to field staff, agency personnel, foster resource families, providers, and the public.
  • Complete and verify data entry to ensure accuracy in the Child Welfare OR-KIDS information system.
  • Process records and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Handle reception and phone duties as needed within the team.
  • Assist with all tasks related to fleet vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
  • An associate degree in any field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Attributes
We are looking for candidates with:
  • Front Desk Experience: Previous experience in front desk reception duties, showcasing effective communication and organizational skills
  • Program Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to explain rules, regulations, and procedures related to a specific program or service to individuals
  • Computer Skills/Data Management: Experience with utilizing computers for tasks such as data processing, entry, and verification of detailed information
  • Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients or customers to resolve conflicts and disputes
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and demonstrate intercultural competency.

Working Conditions
  • Work Locations: You will be required to work in the office.
  • Travel: Occasional travel for meetings, trainings, and other case related activities.
  • Hours: Regular work week with fluctuating hours; occasional overtime may be needed, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting children with car seats.
  • This role involves handling sensitive topics related to trauma, abuse, and crises, requiring a trauma-informed approach that is essential to ensure a safe environment.
  • You may interact with individuals who have experienced trauma and may have difficulty managing their emotions.
  • Be prepared for stressful situations that require quick decision-making to ensure safety for yourself and others.
