About the Role
The role of the Content Management Specialist is to program the Bet MGM product for all channels across web and mobile. A key responsibility is the daily monitoring and checking of our platforms, ensuring content is accurate and up to date. The role also involves working to multiple deadlines at the same time. Sitecore CMS experience is a plus, as is knowledge of HTML/CSS.
The Content Management Specialist reports to the Manager, Sports Content and is expected to pro-actively collaborate with the entire Product team in order to deliver a first-class experience to our customers.
Responsibilities

Program the app and desktop’s layout across the homepage and various sport/league pages following strategy outlined by Sports Content Leadership

Sanity check all aspects of the product (links, titling, grammar, navigational items, etc.) are correct

Become subject matter expert on new tools and features as they are developed, including CMS programming and front-end optimization

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to deliver on time

Approach your work with a positive attitude and work ethic

Be passionate and bring enthusiasm to your day-to-day tasks

Commit to quality

Time management organization skills are a must
Essential Functions
-
Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Must be willing and able to work nights and weekends
Qualifications
-
Strong knowledge of the majority of U.S. Sports including but not limited to NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MMA, Soccer, PGA etc.
-
Knowledge of online betting platforms and terminology
-
Experience working within a CMS a plus, experience using Sitecore a huge plus
-
Experience working within Asana a plus
-
Knowledge of analytic software a plus
-
Strong communication skills
-
Fluent in English written and verbal, Spanish a plus
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 to $30.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, Bet MGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.
In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.
