Job Description

This position requires someone who is able to follow processes, likes detailed work, and meets deadlines. Have you had experience preparing Invitation to Bid (ITBs), Request for Qualifications (RFQs), and Request for Proposals (RFPs)? Do you have experience designing regular reporting templates and formats to meet contract and grant requirements? Do you work well in both the creative and analytical worlds? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for our Contracts & Grants Coordinator position. This position is responsible for tracking city contracts, preparing appropriate bid documents, assisting with bid openings, scoring, and selection, and preparing monthly and quarterly grant reports and reimbursements. It requires someone who can research new fields and areas, prepare scope of work and grant applications or reports, and ensure compliance with city-wide purchasing policies. Candidates should have a degree in public administration, business, liberal arts or related field and at least three years of progressive experience in contract & grant management. This position requires excellent communication skills as well as expert computer skills with advanced software related to planning and budgeting. It also requires someone who pays attention to detail and can meet deadlines.
