A week in the life of a Contracts Administrator:

• Interpret contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for the AMERICAN SYSTEMS Contracts office.
• Review, negotiate, and administrate Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Task Orders, Contract modifications, Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
• Manage and administrate company contracts to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions (cost and technical).
• Review and resolve all issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
• Interface with Government/Customer Contracting personnel. Provide contractual guidance, advice, and support to in-house management and Program Managers, including interpreting terms and conditions, monitoring contract performance and performing contract close-outs in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Generate contractual correspondence for cognizant contracts.

• 1-4 years of specific experience as a Contracts Administrator in Federal Contracts Administration.
• Bachelors Degree
• Familiarity with Federal Government Contract Types and a working knowledge of the FAR.
• Experience in negotiating terms and conditions and multiple types of contractual agreements to include but not limited to Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts.
• Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems working under only general direction.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and with Operations personnel.
• Experience with computers and basic application software to include Word and Excel.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $54,000-$116,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
