A week in the life of a Contracts Administrator:

Interpret contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for the AMERICAN SYSTEMS Contracts office.
Review, negotiate, and administrate Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Task Orders, Contract modifications, Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Manage and administrate company contracts to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions (cost and technical).
Review and resolve all issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
Interface with Government/Customer Contracting personnel. Provide contractual guidance, advice, and support to in-house management and Program Managers, including interpreting terms and conditions, monitoring contract performance and performing contract close-outs in accordance with applicable regulations.
Generate contractual correspondence for cognizant contracts.

Job Requirements

1-4 years of specific experience as a Contracts Administrator in Federal Contracts Administration.
Bachelors Degree
Familiarity with Federal Government Contract Types and a working knowledge of the FAR.
Experience in negotiating terms and conditions and multiple types of contractual agreements to include but not limited to Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts.
Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems working under only general direction.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and with Operations personnel.
Experience with computers and basic application software to include Word and Excel.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $54,000-$116,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides for the welfare of its employees and their dependents through a comprehensive benefits program by offering healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans (including ESOP and 401k), insurance programs, and education and training assistance.
