ARKUPS is an underground utility locating company that provides a reliable, cost-effective locate service that ensures public safety by preventing damage to our partner's facilities. As a Damage Prevention Specialist, you will workindependently, and will be responsible for identifying and marking thelocation of all partner subsurface utilities to minimize damage ordisruption of service due to construction excavation activities.

Thiswill include interacting with contractors, co-workers and the generalpublic in person and by telephone and/or email to establish and maintaineffective working relationships while promoting the Arkansas 811 law toprevent damage.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record and background.

Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and electronic prints.
  
• Ability to distinguish colors to mark utilities with designated color for corresponding utility.
• Ability to interpret signals and output from electronic detection equipment in order to accurately locate underground utility lines.
