We are Hiring for a General Maintenance Manager.
We have four children learning centers located in Cache Valley
At Little Wonders we provide quality child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are more than just a child care center! We pride ourselves in the level of care AND education we provide for our children. Little Wonders is where young children come to grow and develop intellectually, socially and emotionally.
We are looking for a General Maintenance Helper to add to our growing team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of plumbing, electricity, sheetrock and other construction duties. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, good mechanical and technical aptitude, and the ability to exercise good judgement.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a current valid driver’s license. Those with prior experience or training in the building trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, are highly encouraged to apply.
Requirements

Pay is based on experience and level of education $12.00-15.00
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have transportation
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required
Must be safety minded
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must work well with others and represent a company professionally
Work experience in general building maintenance, or demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools (such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measures, electronic/electronic testing devices), and knowledge of and ability to properly use specialized equipment, including that used in one or more of the trades of electrical, plumbing or general carpentry;
Ability to manage material resources and time
Ability to follow directions, instructions, structured process and procedures, and to complete tasks.
Customer service skills to act responsively to centers inquiries and requests; and escalate the more difficult matters appropriately;
Effective communication skills to follow written and oral instructions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities, and to build effective working relationships with director, staff and others;
Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving and common sense skills;
Work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for facilities, ensuring efficient operations.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment as needed.
Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks for optimal facility performance.
Oversee electrical systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Implement maintenance management strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Collaborate with team members to address facility maintenance issues promptly.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
