Position: Greenhouse Supervisor
Pay: $30/hour
Employment: Full-Time
What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of the greenhouse’s appearance, including merchandising, plant health, and suggesting new plant varieties.
• Assist customers with selecting seasonal annuals, houseplants, herbs, and vegetables.
• Maintain a beautiful and easy-to-shop sales area by organizing plants, tagging prices, and ensuring plant health through watering, feeding, and deadheading.
• Help with plant deliveries—unloading, pricing, and setting up the sales floor (a crucial and physical part of the role).
• Monitor inventory levels and make purchases as needed, keeping the team and Garden Center Manager informed.

What You Bring:

• Horticultural Knowledge: Experience with annuals, vegetables, herbs, and houseplants, gained through formal training, work, or personal gardening.
• Retail Experience: Previous work in retail is essential, and gardening knowledge is a plus!
• Customer Service Skills: You’ll be interacting with customers and the Weston Nurseries team, so great people skills are a must.
• Physical Stamina: This job requires strength, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and a passion for the job.
• Weekend and Holiday Availability: Flexibility is key, as some weekend and holiday work is required.
