Guard Booth Attendant - Charlotte Airport

Description

The Guard Booth Attendant performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location the Guard Booth Attendant is responsible for inventory checks, damage inspections upon departure/return, and ensuring the cleanliness of the city trucks and passenger shuttle buses.
The Guard Attendant works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that safety standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Greet arriving and departing employees in a friendly and courteous manner
Act as traffic controller to direct incoming trucks/buses in the lot
Perform vehicle inspection to make sure all tools and equipment is accounted for
Perform city bus inspections
Perform daily patrols around the guard booth
Assist in the maintenance of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the facility or Operations Manager
Use respectful communication to assist employees and guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as necessary
Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

At least 18 years of age
Previous customer service experience, preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to verbally communicate with guests
