We are seeking a full-time Manager, Human Resources for our Upholstery Plant Operations located in Hildebran, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Human Resources (HR) policies and programs to ensure compliance in staffing and recruitment, associate relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, time and attendance record keeping, and personnel records administration
- Promote associate engagement and act as a liaison between associates and management to foster a positive associate relations atmosphere
- Work closely with Plant Operations and HR team to ensure a positive "open door" climate
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
- Ensure all Company HR policies are applied consistently
- Ensure Company compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Conduct onboarding of new associates to promote awareness of the Company culture and organizational objectives
- Responsible for the Upholstery Operations Payroll up to and including proper scanning of production tickets for incentive-based associates, maintenance of all associate timecards and accuracy of associate bi-weekly payroll
- Conduct monthly safety / communication meetings
- Perform plant audits for safety, health & environmental awareness
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
- Promote the Company culture through associate events and philanthropic events, such as United Way
- Oversee daily responsibilities of the Human Resource Assistant
- Perform other duties as required by the Vice President of Human Resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of seven years of human resource management experience
- Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage and salary laws and regulations
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Power Point and Outlook), ERP and other key operating systems
