• IT Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs at the Waco, TX plant, addressing hardware, software, and system inquiries.
• Device Configuration & Troubleshooting: Configure and troubleshoot computers and i OS devices for new hires and both on-site and remote employees.
• Software Installation & Testing: Install, test, and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems and office applications, to ensure access to essential systems.
• Asset Tracking & Inventory: Assist with IT asset tracking and inventory location to maintain an organized and accurate record of IT resources.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT directives from our parent company in Germany, and work to uphold these standards and policies across the team.
• System Administration Coordination: Coordinate with IT Management in Germany to execute elevated system administration tasks effectively.
• Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries, diagnose system issues, and provide solutions to hardware, software, and operator problems.

• Preferred: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in an IT position.
• Preferred: 3-4 years in an IT support role, such as Help Desk Support or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in i OS and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2013/2016 suite.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including troubleshooting connectivity issues in LAN and VPN settings.
  • Familiarity with Windows server network services such as DHCP, DNS, and file sharing.
  • Knowledge of video conferencing software like Go To Meeting and Zoom (preferred).
  • Understanding of Vo IP systems (preferred).
