THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Hardware Sales (K12) Specialist to join our team. You must live in Texas and be in or nearby Austin, Dallas, or Houston. In this role, you will focus on selling ER2’s suite of services and computer technology solutions, with a special emphasis on schools, and enterprise clients. Your ability to understand client needs, create customized solutions, and build lasting relationships will be key to your success.


Compensation: $75k/year DOE + Commission



This is a full-time, exempt, position, M-F 8am-5pm.



THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for ER2’s technology and services offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, with a focus on schools and enterprise clients.
  • Present and sell computer technology, IT services, and related products.
  • Present and sell new hardware to our schools and enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and products to schools.
  • Achieve sales targets by effectively managing the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technology, and competitors’ activities, especially


THE VITALS:
  • Must live in or nearby Austin, Dallas, or Houston.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on technology and services.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, and computer technology.
  • Experience selling to schools or educational institutions is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong, lasting client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects as needed. (50+ lbs).
  • Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • The ability to speak/read English fluently.
  • Must pass background screening. "Pass" meaning no theft related felony within the past 7 years.
  • Must complete drug screen upon hire.
