This Lead housekeeping opportunity is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a conveneint schedule. This individual will clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the environmental services department.
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Assists visitors with directions whenever requested.
Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions

Qualifications:

One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
