Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis manages a team responsible for providing organizational and administrative support for the financial operations of the organization. The individual supports leadership in adhering to budgeting, forecasting and reporting deadlines. The Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis will work collaboratively with leadership throughout the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and other members of MCHS Finance to create meaningful and accurate forecasts, financial targets, and analysis assigned MCHS entities and will present financial information to management groups throughout the organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred/Optional: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and with non-verbal, verbal and written communication skills in addition to one of the following:

Five years accounting experience with two years management experience.
Eight years accounting experience plus project management or team lead experience.

Preferred/Optional: Five years’ management experience within a healthcare setting in accounting, budgeting and forecasting or financial analysis.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Certified Public Accountant, Fellow in (Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst.
