Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination and transport of all used and new equipment/furniture to and from various destinations throughout Prisma Health and off-site storage locations. Directly supports warehouse storage, capital projects, department relocations, off site storage facilitates and other special projects. Assures that the appropriate receipt, inspections, capital tagging and deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
Essential Functions

• Coordinates the internal shipment and delivery of all project equipment and furniture.
  
• Coordinates use of various storage facilities used by Prisma Health to support capital project installations or moves. Includes organizing material to efficiently locate, stage, transport and deliver in a timely manner.
  
• Responsible for receipt, coordinating inspections by clinical engineering or engineering and capital tagging process for all project equipment/furniture, new or used.
  
• Coordinates cleanup efforts after equipment/furniture is moved, delivered or installed.
  
• Responsible for pick up, transport and delivery of surplus equipment/furniture to surplus warehouse facility.
  
• Evaluates and recommends any further disposition of surplus equipment/furniture.
  
• Supervises temporary staffing used for moves, set up or storage of capital projects.
  
• Drives and maintains hospital vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Maintains good driving record and meets all requirements in accordance with Prisma Health Policy S-104-3. Interacts with co-workers and customers of the department to facilitate supply needs.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Experience - No experience required.
