Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.
*Please note - candidates will be hired by, work for, and paid directly by the hiring family*
We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Dix Hills, NY (11746).
A lovely family in Dix Hills is looking for a part-time nanny to help care for their sweet 2 year old daughter after daycare each day. Care will be needed Monday through Friday from 5pm to 9pm for a total of 20 hours per week. An ideal candidate will be engaging, reliable, and experienced in working with toddlers.
  • Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 5pm - 9pm
  • Occasional opportunity for extra hours (past 9pm)
  • Start Date: August 1st, 2024
  • End Date: Long term
  • 1 child: 2 years old
  • Rate: $25/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • All aspects of toddler care for 1 child
  • Age appropriate play and activities
  • Meal and snack preparation, being mindful of child’s nut allergy
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bath and bedtime routine
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience - toddler experience a must
  • Has a valid driver’s license and own vehicle + clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • CPR certified or willing to become certified
  • Smoking not permitted on premises
Compensation: Position pays $25 per hour and the family is looking for 20 hours of care per week, long term
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
  • After school
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
