Full Job Description
We are a Fed Ex Contracted Service Provider looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals to join our team. We are currently accepting applications for full or part time Package Delivery Drivers at our Mobile County location. This is a position that requires a hardworking, dependable and reliable individual.
Delivery Drivers strive to get every Fed Ex order to the customer’s door on-time with a winning attitude. Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate they are safety focused, reliable, a team player, and have a great work ethic.
General Responsibilities:

• Deliver 50-100 packages per day in 8 hours or less.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Periodically provide delivery support to other team members.
• Be customer focused.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times.
• Use a hand-held device for routing information and customer delivery information.

Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Lift packages up to 150 lbs.
• Drive a delivery van to residences and businesses.
• Be able to get in and out of the vehicle and walk up and down stairs through your shift in all weather conditions.
• Do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling and climbing to perform multiple tasks.
• Perform routine oil, tire, and fluid checks

Work Environment

• Flexibility is key; routes vary and may be delayed due to traffic from, construction, or other factors.
• Shifts are 8-9 hours per day and are available 7 days/week.
• Hours and potential schedule may change to accommodate Fed Ex's peak seasons and other factors.

Basic Qualification and Job Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• MUST be willing to work weekends
• Possess a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Possess high-school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 150 pounds each
• Authorized to work in the United States

• Terminal: 6752 Trippel Rd, Theodore, AL 36582
• Routes: North Mobile or Washington County
