Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Probation Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative functions while ensuring efficient operations within the organization. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Responsibilities

• Manage case files and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conducts online criminal record checks.
• Submits criminal history information in accordance with policy within case management system to assist probation officers with pretrial bond reports for the Court.
• Perform collateral investigations, including researching, retrieving, and verifying demographic information and complete correspondence in guideline format.
• Administer the electronic case file notification system and route court notifications to appropriate parties, including court calendar and status report updates for case files.
• Develop knowledge of all PACTS national updates and new generations provided by the Administrative Office.
• Complete credit report requests and reconcile monthly invoice for payment.
• Assist with drug testing of federal persons under supervision, and report results in accordance with policy to the Court. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent and two years of general experience is required.
• Previous experience in case management or related fields is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using office software and technology for documentation and communication.
• Progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience requiring the regular and recurring application of clerical procedures that demonstrate the ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives, or laws and involve the routine use of specialized terminology and automated software and equipment for word processing, data entry or report generation. Such experience is commonly encountered in law firms, legal counsel offices, banking and credit firms, educational institutions, social service organizations, insurance companies, real estate and title offices, and corporate headquarters or human resources/payroll operations.

Pay: $47,966.00 - $77,966.00 per year
