Overview: Responsibilities:

• Lead the CDW System Administration (SA) and Database Administration (DBA) teams in daily activities and provide status to the Gov CIO CDW Program Manager.
• Ensure that all SA and DBA work is logged, prioritized and tracked through Jira or other tools designated by the Client.
• Partner with Clients to strategize, plan and track progress toward meeting their objectives.
• Work across CDW and OPEX pillars to ensure quality delivery of objectives and major initiatives.
• Provide insights into best practices and initiatives that support the customer’s needs.
• Ensure teams follow guidelines to produce highly quality products, that are tested and approved prior to delivery.
• Understand existing processes and identify those areas requiring improvement and implement those for processes through team collaboration.
• Develop trust amongst team members so to gather information needed to escalation customer concerns if/when they arise.
• Identify appropriate resolutions to achieve client satisfaction in a timely manner and create a Root Cause Analysis, when needed.
• Partner with other CDW and other product teams to define, implement, and operate a support model that leverages Agile and Dev Ops principles.
• Analyze, manage, and report key system status and metrics to the customer.
• Identify and manage risks and issues impacting the progress and outcome of key customer initiatives.

Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline, 12 years total work experience required, 10 years of relevant experience in IT or software engineering. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for education.
• 10 years of project and/or program management experience within an IT environment.
• 2-5 years of experience working in a government environment.
• Experience in leading teams using Agile Scrum and Kanban.

Clearance Required:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust Clearance.
